While I have your attention, you would probably know the history of Bud and this plane better than anyone else on this forum. I was curious whether Bud flew only the P-51B that you're drawing, or if he ever had other Mustangs painted in the Old Crow colors? I know the model I built is based on a currently-flying privately-owned P-51D that is painted to match Bud's P-51B but didn't know if Bud actually flew a D in the war. Do you know if he ever flew in this particular plane recently too? I think it's owned by Anders Saether.
