Thanks for the feedback on the Aberdeen collection. I visited the Aberdeen collection years ago and was saddened by the neglect of the collection there and apparent unconcern of the curator when I talked to him.
The Patton Museum on the other hand has a very well kept up collection, and an active restoration program. The outdoor tanks are well painted and have none of the cancerous rust spots that many of the outdoor tanks at Aberdeen did. It is well worth the visit particularly to get a close up look at their FT17s and the American variant and to see the Ford tank up close.
The T28 has an interesting story, apparently it went missing for a number of years. I would have thought it would be hard to misplace something that big, but then the Fort Knox area is big and overgrown.
