I didn't know much about it, either. I thought this would be a good excuse to do some research. Thus far I've found some, but not a lot. :( I did find it interesting that most of the E.IIIs were stationed in Palastine and were flown by German pilots. "The E3 model joined the German air force in September 1915 and they also served for the Turkish air force, mainly at the "Pasha" Regiment (Fliegerabteilung-300) in Palestine where German pilots served. 9 aircrafts of this model were deployed between 1916 and 1917." I finally got started on this kit. I didn't get far today, but it is a start.:o
