I spent six nice years working on this aircraft in Tucson Az., 23 Tactical Air Support Squadron 602 Wing, Forwad Air Control. We were the last active duty squadron and sold half our fleet to Honduras and the other half ended up in the boneyard. About two years after I left they switched over to the (O)A-10. Loved working on the GE J-85-17A engine; it was my favorite until I got to the GE F110-100/-129 engine.

It really wasn't much like the Tweet except in the general outward appearance, it weighed about as much empty as the Tweet weighed fully loaded.
