All right, with some nagging I decided to go ahead and start the design thread for the YB-35 which I am working on designing. The Scale will be 1/72, since the aircraft was so huge. Even in this scale wingspan will be close to 30 inches. So far, I don't have much to show, I am really struggling with the wing because my drawings don't give too many sections. I finally just took the sections I had a adjusted them to fit using the scale tool. So far so good. Another interesting challenge has been devising framework. I don't build aircraft models too often (certainly never a flying wing!) so I had to some research and some tweaking to get it right. I also had to devise a unique way of fitting the four engines to the wing, and I came up with a unique framing structure to hold them securely. All this to say, no pics yet! :P Sorry....
