HO Scale Surface Detail Rivet Decals

Don
I do not know this brand but I buy some rivet decals from Archer to use on some plastic I want to make to look like a miniature treasure chest with bolts. They are the water slide decals and they are printed in some resin on clear film. You soak them in water and apply to a wet surface so you can move it around. The instructions say to use Micro Set liquid underneath, and Micro Sol liquid on top. You let the liquids evaporate and the decal paper it have pulled down tightly to the surface.

So I do not know if it will work so much on paper with the amount of liquid needed. It also requires paint to seal in place and to colour unless you want just black dots.

These are fairly costly also at least the ones I buy. It work well for the shadow box miniatures though.
