To avoid a repeat of thrush or other digestive problems, it would be helpful to buy yourself a pro-biotic blend - something with acidofillus, bifidus, etc. Take 'em like candy. From experience, the refrigerated capsule type is most effective. "Mother Earth" and most health food stores carry the refrigerated variety. I don't think GNC does, though.Yogurt really isn't a good choice while on doxy (dairy and doxy don't mix very well). One more tip while on doxy - don't take it right before going to bed for the night. That stuff'll start burning a hole in your stomach after a few days.
