Very nice work..... This is going to be a huge part count.
I can see from the 3D you're working card layering into the basic design to get the plate thickness. That'll kind of mean that the part count will exceed the part count on an actual locomotive OUCH! I'm kind of guessing that this is a long term project. It's looking very good so far.
