Hello group!
Tonight a wee update, I've tackled the fuselage:
First, the formers of the aft fuselage. Nothing special here.
It eased construction considerably that I've rearranged the fuselage parts beforehand. Thus, when I had gleud the upperedges of the fuselage sides to the upper former (which is fairly easy) all parts automatically were well aligned.
Then, I installed the firewall and the inner cockpit walls (only inserted in this picture) to get the correct position of the cabin front.
Glued in place...
...cockpit top and engine cowling added - done!
Well, that is for the moment. In the red circle, you see where I mucked up the fuselage during touching up the edges.
That means that I will do the fuselage again, this time
with the aft fuselage top and the cockpit interior and - not the worst! - with a good deal more experience!
