Why not leave both options to the builder? Leaving it attached to the forward section, there is a storage cabinet above and behind the couches that might be able connected to the fwd pressure hull (as you did with the equipment bays) allowing for all six connection points; and for mounting to the aft section, perhaps two (or four) hidden stubs under the couches for support (with the storage cabinet left with the aft hull)?
