Ken, the CM is looking good. Your patience and perseverance is more than admirable.

The model will also have to pass the critical scutiny of knowledgable people who know a fake when they see it. What you see so far is a prototype with issues. These issues will be corrected in due time; as the CM deserves an all-out effort.
Apologies for being a bit 'geek'! But when one sees that a skilled modeller such as yourself can produce quality like this, and quite quickly, the 'geeks' amongst us almost begin hoping that you can produce a near-perfect miniature from the rivets upwards, lol! It isn't a judgemental reaction, it is merely a huge, deferential bow having seen your wonderful craftsmanship. Keep up the amazing work, Sir!

Was fortunate enough to be in San Diego on business this past weekend, at very short notice, so I made sure to pop in to the San Diego Air & Space museum and have a very close look at the Apollo 9 CM 'Gumdrop'. A very hearty thanks to space author Francis French (francisfrench.net) for the admission ticket.
