I appreciate your comments. Reflects are due to the gloss of the photo paper. It is from Kodak... 180gr I believe.
The 1953 Buick series from bottom to top were the Special (sharing its body with the Oldsmobile Super 88), Super and Roadmaster (sharing bodies with Cadillac). The Skylark (red model shown) was a an exclusive model based on the Roadmaster series and if I am correct about 1600 were built that year. 1953 was the last year of the straight 8 that was replaced by a 522 C.I. V8 in '54.
The Le Sabre name first was given to a 1951 GM experimental show car (The dream car of dream cars!) and appeared on Buick cars from 1959 to 2004. I owned a 1960 LeSabre 2dr hardtop a few years ago... I fell in love with that make!
