charles, thanks for the info about this monster, especially when you look at its nose gun. Looks like a cigar to me!
mbauer, there's no secret. What I did was to cut it apart at where the sections are supposed to be joined. Then I added tabs underneath each part to be joined and burnished it inside and outside before the PVA glue dried. I know that there should be proper terms for these joints and I'd love to know what they are.
