Printing proper color and detail...?

Having trouble with this new HP Photosmart Plus B209a printer of mine. I set it up on my Linux PC and it prints great, nice and sharp, good detail etc. However, the colors are a bit off in the blues and greens. They're too vibrantly green. So I tried it on my Windows PC, the colors are perfect, but the finest lines aren't printing as well as on the Linux PC. I'm so confused. Both times, I'm just using the "high quality" set to 600dpi.

Here's an example:

On the left is the Linux printout - the green is too dark, the blues too bright, and the logo background far too teal. On the right is the Windows printout - the color is just right - matches the screen - but the lines are too faint, even missing in some sections:

Linux:

Windows:

Any suggestions on how I could either correct the color in Linux, or enhance the detail from Windows? I even tried the "maximum DPI setting" - an optimized 4800x1200dpi print, but it didn't work.
