YB you are right.......... but it is neat that this was the first "foreign" build aircraft adopted by the USAF, it also proves that the original design was a classic in that it was a good aircraft from the start and adapted easily to many, many differnet roles.
With the Global Economy now this seems to be the rule instead of the exception.............
