If you need more references, in particular concerning the German F.IIs (hint, hint !!!), don't hesitate to ask me! If I remember correctly, there was quite some variation amongst the F.IIs . E.g., the pilot sat to the right or to the left, depending on the installed engine, and the like...

The State Archives Basel-Stadt keep the BALAIR photo collection with some good pictures of Swiss F.IIIs (amongst many others). You might want to search for 'sternenfeld' (i.e., Basel-Sternenfeld aerodrome) at
