*With the erk standing in front of the second letter of the squadron code, I can't be sure, but it looks like either a "P," "R," or a "B." Since DP = 193 Squadron, which flew Typhoons in 1944 and DR = No. 1555 Flight, which flew Hurricanes, my guess is 412 Squadron, in which the aircraft is Spit IXb MK343. [J.D.R.
