That makes a lot of sense, and I feel kind of silly for not thinking of it. I guess that means now is as good a time as any to put the wings on.
I don't think I mentioned before, but I'm using joining strips where appropriate to avoid overlapping edges. I'm also leaving the tip of the nose open because I'm determined to avoid the tail-heavy problem I had with my Avanti.
