M16A1 Assault Rifle

Hi all,

I have been eyeing a weapon build for a long time now, and I think I found one that I might like to do.

Over on the Mothership, Amazon, I ran across this offer, and bought a copy Amazon.com: Assault Rifle Replica Model 3d Colored Puzzle: Everything Else

the kit consists of 4 sheets of foam sandwiched between two paper sheets, and each of the parts are die cut and numbered.
the sheets are 8.25 x 11.25 inches.

The kit itself go together in a sandwich style, stacking them up, and locking them in place with cross pieces.

35 total pieces, 32 for the weapon, and 3 for the stand.

depending on how my week works out, I will try to detail the build here

Rick

Ok, so my week worked out that I could put the whole kit together within about an hour or so.

I hope you scanned it before you built it, so you can upscale another.

It looks really good

Nope, no scanning, don't really believe in doing that.

plus I can always go 1 to 1 scale and start on the M-4 version
