As I said in
this post last year, I encountered on the Julius Perdana's site the model of the white version of the
Gundam Sinanju MS-06S. I liked immediatly the head shape and i began to build it but, as it happens to the modelers, I was trapped in the need to build more and more.
I never built this kind of model and the way Julius designs and engineers the parts is very intriguing, and I can appreciate his talent, 'cause I designed something as well.
Many boxes sustain from inside the external curved parts and the final result is steady and beautiful. A wise way to combine the structural issues with the general rendering of the shape. This is an easy way also to solve the posture.
The problem is that you have to be very accurate when you cut, fold and glue the single boxes, otherwise you lose the symmetry and as you continue with the work the problem is amplified.
But Julius did a great job and the parts fit perfectly. You have to be patient and accurate and all goes well.
