I'm building Batley & Pearson's kit for Pratchett's Unseen University. So far I've resisted the temptations to "improve" the kit. Recessed windows/doors and so forth. But the printed foliage has bothered me from the get go. It doesn't look good to my eye and photos of the construction agree with my eye. So, yesterday, I tossed paper modeling philosophy to the dogs and started adding foliage using common model railroading products. My eyes are happy enough this morning that I will likely continue.
BUT, I need some other eyes to confirm or deny what I'm seeing. Since my wife is out of town I'm turning to youse guys. Opinions? (Naked wall chunk on the lower left beside foliated wall chunk with a fuzzy building behind.)
