It may be time to tell the Sikorsky story again.
Two years ago at this event, a Korean War veteran came by wearing a 8055 MASH cap. That was the original outfit that inspired the MASH novel, film, and television series.
When we mentioned the Bell H-13 aeromedical evacuation helicopters shown in the opening credits of the television show, he became quite agitated and walked off shouting "Sikorsky! Sikorsky! They were Sikorskys!"
We weren't sure what that was all about until I went searching and found this image of the 8055 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) aeromedical evacuation flight.
They were all Sikorskys.
