I have seen this flight by myself. The weather conditions were lousy for this flight as there was crosswind and gusts. Erik decided to fly nevertheless to present his wonderful model.
At the landing a gust lifted the model beyond a flyable state.
I have seen this model fly (and land of course
) perfectly on other meetings. So I would say the design works well in normal conditions and well... How many 109 (or F-4 Wildcats) were crashed during landings regarding the narrow tracked landing gear
