The trial build proved that this concept worked so I decided to go ahead with a full build of the 109 Instrument panel at 1:1 scale (full size).

The next gauge would be more detailed and exactly to the plan. The gauge chosen was the Tachometer RPM gauge FL20222. Time was spent cutting out the body exactly and covering it with white paper on the top and the side. I trimmed away any excess paper and ensured the gauge face was central.

Once complete the gauge was painted black and weathered.
