Well done - yes, an AN-24.

The actual 24 version is interesting - it's an An-24RV. I wouldn't have known, but I found this on a plate on the plane.

----------------------------

I looked the version up and according to Wiki the Rv stands for Reaktivnyy (Uskoritel)- which means Boosted Version V.

This was a turbojet boosted export version fitted with a 1,985-lb (900-kg) thrust auxiliary turbojet engine in the righthand nacelle. It had narrow chord inner wings, double-slotted flaps, and is powered by two 2,550 hp (1,902 kW) Ivchenko AI-24A turboprop engines.

The An 26 was the military tactical version and externally differs in have a cargo ramp and most distinctive of all, bulged observation windows in the front fuselage.

Look at the photo again, and see if you notice any thing else interesting about this plane?
