My name is Hugo. I am an eight year old beagle who was adopted by my parents in 2010 from Shelter From the Storm. I am a loving, silly and mischievous pup at heart. I love long trips to my favorite dog parks, playing tug-of-war, and finding all sorts of great smells. I was following a great smell on Wednesday October 14 and snuck out of my parents' backyard. I crossed a busy street and was hit by a truck. I am now in intensive care and need surgery for my broken back. I am hanging in there but I need your help for my surgery, so that I can walk again and go back and run in my favorite parks with my adopted brothers.
