CCGS Andrew Forester, some deviation from the USCG

This "brise-glace" is in memory of my good friend and polymath, Dr. Andrew Forester who with his wife Liz always show kindness to me and others. Nevertheless the model doesn't merit the life of Andy, he was a marine biology among other things.
The Icebreaker is a frankenstein with the hull of an old French model (brise-glace) recolored and the modified superstructure of the SWATH Kilo Moana research vessel. I made it because I needed a place to land Bruno's Canadair CL-84 in what-if rescue colors. It also shows a Mexican navy Alouette, a Czeck PZL W-3, and a more plausible Kamov visitor.
