As you might notice, with this model I am trying to design around some Interior elements.
The Saladin appears to have more visible access to the insides
which means I may have to provide a better interior than what I did with the Centurion.
(Although, I am pretty happy with what I was able to squeeze into the Centurion.)

The strength and rigidity of molded plastic gives you all the space inside the model
you might need for interior components...
but paper models (of this scale) require bulkheads and framework that just isn't there in the real thing.
And it really interferes with installing an accurate interior.

But I'm trying to design the necessary crew and engine spaces into the internal structure.
So far, so good.

Another thing I want to include is some supporting axles,
so there is no risk of suspension sag.
I'm not trying to make a "rolling" chassis,
just hide some strengthening axle rods within the chassis.

So they will have to take up some space in the bottom of the Hull.
