Learned of Saladin in a bag of little plastic tanks given to me in early 1970s. Had a model of that amphibious truck version as a Matchbox car, it was white. Saracen APC was also one of those little plastic tanks. They had snap-on turrets and were molded hollow with no floors, tracks and tires were flat, too, much like what could be considered a super-simple paper model of only the exterior outline now that I think about it.
Saladin is an interesting vehicle and I don't recall ever seeing its interior.

As I mentioned, my exposure to the Centurion and the Saladin was Corgi, Dinky and Matchbox toys in the 60s.
I don't care what anyone says, stuff was much better back then.
Even the crap stuff was better!
I have some photos of the Saladin Interior...I wish I had more.
I wish I had a nice side view interior plan or side view cutaway drawing, so I could get some size and position of things.
(I have one cutaway drawing in my Profile magazine, buts a 3/4 view,
so you can't judge sizes and positions.)
