Yup, definitely Rochester. I'd have to look at my copy of "94 Years of Rochester Railways" to see exactly when the Lake Avenue line stopped running, but early 30's sounds right to me too. BTW, the southwest corner of Lake and Denise is still a gas station today, with a bank I used to cash paychecks at on the northwest corner.
