this trick also works for other websites that have horrible search engines. The one that comes to my mind is Amazon.com as their search engine is paramount to a 3rd grad christmas grab bag. however using google to search with the string "site:amazon.com" added at the end works really well.
Also if you want to REMOVE a website from posting a response, "-site:" also works. I find this particularly good for removing pinterest.com as they are a mostly useless service for image searches. once I see an image search is polluted with images from pinterest.com, I add to the search string "-site:pinterest.com" and then I get the search result eliminating that websites responses.
