TS Israel is a small liner by Wilhelmshavener, but of very simple and vintage design, not re-worked since the end of the 1950s. They also include the Bremen (1959), Europa (1966), Berlin (1955), United States, Olympia. Only the Berlin (1980) and Kong Harald have been added since the 1950s. The Horizon, published in the 1990s, is in fact a Van Kampen Model. That means only three passenger ships have been addded in 55 years! Ironically, my dad used to build some of those in his childhood. The graphics and style are charming, but not really up to my standard. You have to make substantial changes to bring about a good model. If I had to do it again, I would now substitute major elements like the bridge front where the print is very inaccurate and the shaping problematic no matter how fine your craft is. Nonetheless, I like the model of this mini-Zim liner.
