Of course a Virginia boy would know that! My wife grew up in "South-Side" Virginia. As a very young girl she remembers spending time with her grandparents and Mother Maybelle would sometimes visit with her daughters. Her grandfather who did not read music or play an instrument had a group called the Dixie Pals and toured with the Carter family.
Oh wait isn't this thread supposed to be about a Bluebird. Well the Carter family recorded on the Bluebird record label so close enough I guess!
