Wayne - this a real puzzler. At first thought I went Convair or Globemaster. But nope - it is isn't.
Appears to be high wing as well. Cockpit humped up. And if those are wings in place, where are the signs of the engine nacelles? There is a gap, but it looks small for a nacelle, and the aircraft looks like it would more likely have been four engined.
Not a glider? Don't think so either.....
Conundrum of the year......
