I considered gussets, but decided I didn't need them. The framework seems to be well engineered and is pretty sturdy so far. I've done just about all the hot-gluing that makes sense -- it'll be white glue from here on out. The basic frame is shaping up but there are still many pieces to go on. The photo shows the messy globs of hot-melt glue, but they're all on the inside.
