Per a recent suggestion from my fellow modelers during our Toronto meet at my place, I decided for the first time to spray all the sheets prior to cutting with
Americana clear mat acrylic spray. The purpose is to minimize damage to the parts when they are rolled or bent ( usually laser printed pages will damage if not protected ; yes, I built one kit that will not cooperate when the parts were rolled. ).
So I set out newspapers on my balcony floor ( outside ), laid out the pages and then spray painted a couple of thin coats.
the smell was so powerful that when I opened the door a few minutes later to come in, the odor followed me and there was this powerful smell all around the apartment. So, I am not sure I want to do it again.
of interest is that when dry, the pages felt like they were stiffer. So lets see how the build progresses.
here is the clear coat
and the pages after spray
