F-84f

Here is the Fiddlers Green F-84F-45-RE in the markings of the aircraft flown by Lt Col Charles Simpson, 78th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 81st Tactical Fighter Wing, RAF Woodbridge, England, 1958. Scale 1/60

Designed by Rob Carleen and Kancho Iliev, the graphics for this model are crisp and clear, and the parts fit together perfectly. Any shortcomings are due to me.

This model brought back a memory from 1955 when I was at Civil Air Patrol summer camp at Langley Field and watched F-84Fs running up their engines at the end of the runway and then rolling down the runway and soaring into the air.

After the Paper Modelers at Army Heritage Days event is behind me, I will provide some info on the construction and try my hand at the straight-wing F-84G.
