It has been a long time since any real building for me, much less design work efforts, but a flying Goose is now seen around here as Addison Pemberton has completed his wonderful 5 year project, with much cooperation from the group of enthusiast friends he has at Felts Field, Spokane Valley.
Since I did the Goose 10 years ago or so for Fiddlers Green, I thought maybe I could do a version to represent Addison's Goose which rumbles overhead on its way to the larger lakes of Coeur d' Alene, and the very large Pend Oreille (has a submarine testing base!). However this has become a challenge for me as my skills are rusty but have pressed on...I think I'm about ready for a more official test build of the progress so far. Having started with an old plan -pre Fiddlers Green- it has become more of a complete redesign than a redraw, but I think is a better model for it, that is if the parts work...we'll see
