John, you mentioned having problems with the fairing when you used the support pieces. I found the curve was wrong (somehow) and part 18 would not fit the curve of the model. I used a #5 centering ring and drew the arc on the part and it fits. I haven't glued it yet or tried to fit the fairing onto it.
I had a problem with the fit of the cockpit section. I'm trying to figure out how to fix that to make it presentable. I may cut slits along the nose wheel doors and "scootch" the cockpit section slightly to fit the fuselage.
