beware with that method, if you delete all the color patches, you'll have the tabs (pink lines) and alignment markers (red dotted lines on the fuselage parts) showing up under the (deleted) skin. I just colored them white in the white versions of the B-24 and Wellington (usually i prefer yellow, at least it's visible) and deleted the markings.
