I was going through my stash deciding what would be my next model. And I was seriously thinking on building a flying boat.
The intended victim was to be the FlyModel Catalina, which despite being an old and far-from-perfect print is a kit I like.
But then I stumbled upon the printed pages of this Savoia, and found a box with the started gunbay and Porco.
Since this is also a flying boat, why not finish it?
Gosh, it's been 5 years already since I started it!!!
There's some sloppy gluing, and I made several mistakes in the finishes and edges. Which can be clearly seen in the photos.
But anyways I'm getting the hang of it again. And, after all, most of it won't be seen after I close the skins.
Next step will be start working on the fuselage/hull skins.
