Well, that's make the challenge even more enjoyable!
I started the skin, working aft to fore.
This time I used a different technique, which is giving great results.
Using a different cardstock also helps a lot.
In the first attempt six years ago I made the mistake of gluing all the upper skin at once, which made it much more difficult to close the bottom of the hull afterwards:
I have the feeling this time I'll build a much better model
