Thanks very much Paper Fan . I agree with your comment about the windows and portholes. I'd also add the holes in the cranes to that list.

I would have done the portholes but at the time I didn't have a hole punch. Since then I bought both small and large punch sets from RP Toolz, so Bismarck will be getting the treatment. I also have the Porthole PE sets for her.

Regarding the Bridge Windows - I was still early into the build when I made the Bridge, and my cutting skills weren't yet up to scratch, so I passed on cutting them out. Now that I've improved in that area I'll be doing so in future.

As for the Cranes, I didn't realize they could have been cut out until after I'd glued them together - too late by then .

This build was really only a learning exercise for me to prepare me for future, more complex, Card models, so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience . Some more pics of the completed ship below.
