No.121 Fairey Gordon Mk I 40 Sqn

No.121 in this series is one of Bruno's 1/100 paid models - Fairey Gordon Mk I FAA, and a break away from Gerry's carrier planes for the moment. I have reduced it to 1/200 to fit in this series of navy planes. According to Wiki, this plane, first flew in 1931, was retired from the Royal Navy FAA before WWII and 49 dispatched to New Zealand's RNZAF, 41 of which briefly as pilot trainers and some subsequently to the Middle East during the War. So, she is one of the Fairey family, and thus a senior. Added are clear wrap windscreens, pilot seats, exhaust system at the aft of the radial engine, rigging and spinning props.
