I next looked at the winder and the lever I started a few weeks earlier.
I made a base for the winder and used brass screws to keep it in place. I found a tiny handle which I attached to the lever, then I made a plastic cover to keep it in place. It moves up and down perfectly.

Hands for the clock were made from card but as I painted them with dayglo paint they curled so I replaced them with plastic ones which I cut out and painted.

I put the model next to the original and compared them, they looked very similar.
