At 25,000 feet, the temp could drop to -40F. on a good day. With a slipstream of 160-180 mph whipping past the turret, it was probably a little (!!) chilly. The gunners in the waist had the worst of it with those open windows but the whole airplane was drafty, especially when you start adding holes from bullets, cannon shells, and flak. Brrrr!
