I really like this model, especially because of the textures, they are amazing, but as already mentioned, the model can not be builded without adjustments.
Individual sections are gradually shrinking from the tip (which is very badly constructed) to the rear.
I decided that the center of the hull (cockpit, engines and wings) has the right size and is in 1:16 scale.
Richard Cherry is not interested in upgrading his model, but if I tell him which piece to enlarge / reduce by how much %, he is willing to do it ...
In the meantime, I got a 3D model from the .pdo file and it is fairly proportionally correct. o_0
I've decided to make improvements to the model, but it's sure a long distance run.
I want to improve the tip of the wings with a tilting mechanism
make an improved cockpit and a catapult seat
perhaps the steering rods with chains on directional rudders and cardan shafts in open mounting holes, etc.
