The Swastika is banned by law from public exhibition in Germany (I'm not sure if in other European countries as well).

I've seen this erasing/blurring of the symbol in many forums (plastic and paper).

If Ryu0127 is also sharing this build in German/European forums, erasing it from the photos is required to publish he photos and avoid problems.

You can build the model with it, and have it at your home for private exhibition. But if shown in public it is better to cover it.

I think somewhere I read that certain uses were allowed, like historical exhibitions, academic uses or something like that. But I can't find the reference right now.

Some other people around the world just don't like it because of personal ideologies and the negative charge the symbol acquired in the 20th century, and prefer to delete it from their models regardless of their country of origin.

Remember people building the Hindenburg without the swastikas, despite the ship not being a war machine. Plastic models of the dirigible (and German WWII airplanes) do not usually include decals for them.
Some people opt for an altered version:

Curiously, before the 1930s the swastika was regarded (and used) in many parts of the world as a symbol with positive connotations given its true origin.
