Now working on the first layer of hull skins. Because this will be a waterline model the lower part of the hull is cut off. Hull skins fit fairly well so far with only a little trimming necessary. Have not run into any major problems so far. Just make sure to test fit every part and its adjacent part before glueing in place. Be sure to precurve all parts before fitting to make things easier.
The hull sides above deck level are double sided so the outside was mounted first with the lower stringer glued but the upper stringer left unglued. Now the upper stringer can be aligned with the upper edges of the gunports and glued from the inside. Next the gunport side spacers can be installed from the inside.
