One of these days I’ll get to it. Things have been really busy with me. Hopefully it will calm down in the next few months. Right now I have the B-17G “Wee Willie” (see below) close to completion and then I’m concentrating on the “Memphis Belle”. She is to go on display in May of this year.
There were two B-17s modified as engine test beds. The cockpits were moved back around four feet. At least four or five different engines were tested on them.
